Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Technology to lead our business analyst team in the planning, development, and execution of IT products and solutions that support the organization's technology goals. This role is responsible for aligning product strategy with business objectives, managing the product lifecycle, and delivering innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.

 

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technology leader who can define the vision, roadmap, and requirements for industry-leading products and can work closely with cross-functional teams to execute and bring those products to market.  The candidate must be comfortable operating and influencing in various roles, including day-to-day interactions with operational and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with the product vision as well as leading periodic executive-level reviews.

 

This role can be performed remotely from within the United States, and may require occasional travel, including to our headquarters in Warminster, PA. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive innovation by identifying, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies—especially AI—to enhance product capabilities and deliver transformative business value.
  • Partner with stakeholders across business units, engineering, security, compliance, and operations to gather requirements, prioritize features, and define success metrics.
  • Drive the strategic vision and roadmap for IT products and platforms in alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Champion agile methodologies, user-centered design, and data-driven decision-making throughout the product development process.
  • Ensure IT products are scalable, secure, and integrated effectively into the organization's broader technology ecosystem.
  • Track and report on product performance and business impact.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to guide innovation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT business analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Interview, train, develop, and appraise IT staff effectively.
  • Take corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
  • Consult with Human Resources as appropriate.
  • Review ongoing performance results of employees.
  • Perform all necessary supervisory functions to effectively and efficiently manage the personnel assigned.
  • Communicate areas of accountability and determine standards of performance as a basis to review progress, recommend salary adjustments, transfers, promotions, and dismissals.

Required Skills

  • 8–10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in product management leadership roles.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably including experience bringing a B2B software product to market.
  • Ability to define technical requirements, understand technology limitations, and to advocate for technical development decisions that align with the product strategy and short and long-term product goals.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise product design/UX, with proven ability to empathize with users and anticipate their needs to drive design choices that optimize the user experience.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex product portfolios.
  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, digital transformation, cloud services, and enterprise IT systems.
  • Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and leading from the front; proven ability to move quickly to solve ambiguities and to turn big ideas into a clearly defined and executable launch roadmap.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership abilities.
  • Experience with SaaS, enterprise platforms, or internal IT systems (e.g., ERP, HRIS, CRM).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
