Would you like to work in the background screening industry? If so, this is the job for you!   At Vertical Screen, Inc., we perform background checks so our clients’ job applicants can get hired. As a Verification Researcher, you will be an important part of this process!   We are looking for detail-oriented researchers to investigate the employment and education histories of our clients’ job applicants. These verifications take place in a unique call center environment, where researchers make outbound calls without any sales or solicitation involved. Other job duties include reviewing and evaluating documentation and information needed for the background screening process and maintaining and documenting detailed notes in system regarding correspondence with applicants.   This is a full-time position at 40 hours a week, and the available shifts vary, Monday through Friday.   

Job Description Global Researchers conduct an interesting variety of international background checks on behalf of our clients' applicants in over 245 countries throughout the world. These checks include but are not limited to employment, education, criminal record, credit, professional licensing, and directorship checks. It is an exciting position which affords the opportunity to interact and gain knowledge about the world around us.   We are seeking a representative who is willing and able to utilize their international education and experiences on a daily basis. It is preferred but not compulsory that applicants fluently speak and read/translate for business purposes in a language besides English. However, those without language capabilities will be considered as well.   This is a full time, OVERNIGHT, Sunday-Thursday position. Shifts are flexible starting at 9pm. Must be able to train the first 2 weeks in the AM.

We are looking for service-oriented representatives to provide assistance to callers via phone support and research. We handle a variety of time-sensitive requests, so effective communication skills are essential to what we do. While a prior background in healthcare or knowledge of healthcare terminology is useful, it is not required.   This position helps make a difference in people’s lives and provides a sense of satisfaction knowing you helped get people back to work. You will also be part of a great team that cares about the people they serve and takes pride in what they do!   This is a full-time position at 40 hours a week, and the available shift is 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
